Description
Shoulder Prosthesis Operational Course (SPOC)
Description
The Shoulder Prosthesis Operational Course (SPOC) is a unique and customized one-day program that accompanies surgeons through all steps in total shoulder arthroplasty. The SPOC Program covers theoretical and practical aspects including hands-on cadaver training opportunities in the ArthoLab. Participants will be guided through the latest surgical techniques in anatomical and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty including pre-operative planning technology. Through interactive discussions, lectures, Re-Live surgeries and hands-on training the participants will be equipped with the state-of-the-art knowledge and skills in total shoulder arthroplasty.
Learning Outcomes
The course provides participants with an overview of relevant pathologies, indications, decision making considerations, latest surgical techniques for anatomical and reverse arthroplasty and preoperative planning. Under the guidance of our experienced faculty, participants have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the necessary materials and instruments and their application in order to subsequently be able to use them in daily clinical practice.
