Endoscopic Spine Surgery – 

Description

This course is reserved for 2nd and higher year ECVS Residents.Didactic sessions will include mock exams, review of relevant papers as well asMCQs helping the residents to better prepare for the Board Exam. By the end ofthe two days course, participants will have a profound knowledge of CCL and meniscalpathology, stifle arthroscopy, including joint distraction, as well as planningand execution of TPLO using the Arthrex TPLO plate and jig. Multiple high-leveldry and wet labs, making advantage of the outstanding facilities of theArthroLab, are the core elements of the course, assuring effective practicaltraining under the supervision of highly experiences faculties.

Learning Outcomes

Acquirea comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles of the CCL andmeniscal pathology. Comprehend the criteria for selecting appropriate instruments for stiflearthroscopy, including joint distraction. Identify, prevent, and employ suitable techniques to address potential complicationssuch as infection and technical errors. Recognize the significance of pre-operative planning and other crucial aspectsof the clinical decision-making process specific to the TPLO procedure and complete a Mock Exam.
