Description
Arthrex Trauma Series: MasterClass Shoulder (Level III)
Endoscopic Spine Surgery:
Description
This Masterclass is designed for experienced shoulder surgeons seeking to further advance their expertise in the management of complex fractures and reconstructive procedures. Building upon current scientific evidence, the course provides an in-depth exploration of challenging fracture patterns, complex glenoid and proximal humerus fractures, complications, revision procedures, and contemporary surgical innovations. Evidence-based expert lectures, interactive case discussions, and direct exchange with renowned faculty members encourage critical evaluation of challenging clinical scenarios and individualized treatment strategies. Practical sessions using cadaveric specimens and/or Sawbone models provide participants with the opportunity to refine advanced surgical approaches, sophisticated reconstructive procedures, and modern fixation concepts. Particular emphasis is placed on preoperative planning, complication management, restoration of anatomy and function, and optimization of clinical outcomes in both complex primary and revision settings.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this masterclass, participants will be able to critically assess complex shoulder injuries and proximal humerus fractures based on current evidence and expert experience. They will further develop their understanding of advanced reconstruction and fixation techniques, discuss strategies for primary and revision procedures and evaluate approaches to optimize clinical and functional outcomes. Through intensive peer-to-peer exchange and hands-on practice, participants will strengthen their expertise in managing challenging shoulder pathologies and complex trauma cases.
