Description
Trauma Masterclass on Complex Elbow and Humerusfractures
Endoscopic Spine Surgery:
Description
This Masterclass is designed for experienced orthopedic and trauma surgeons seeking to further advance their expertise in the management of complex injuries and reconstructive procedures. The course focuses on challenging fracture patterns, periarticular injuries, fracture-dislocations, nonunions, malunions and revision strategies involving the distal humerus, elbow joint, and humeral shaft. Through evidence-based expert lectures, interactive case discussions, surgical planning sessions and advanced technical demonstrations, participants will explore contemporary treatment algorithms and sophisticated operative strategies for demanding clinical scenarios. Particular emphasis is placed on complex decision-making, complication management, reconstructive techniques and the optimization of functional outcomes. Intensive exchange with internationally recognized experts provides a unique platform for critical discussion of emerging concepts, current controversies and advanced solutions in elbow and humerus fracture surgery.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to critically evaluate complex fracture patterns of the elbow and humerus and develop comprehensive treatment strategies based on patient-specific and injury-specific factors. They will be able to perform advanced preoperative planning, select appropriate fixation techniques and apply contemporary surgical approaches for challenging primary and revision cases. Participants will enhance their understanding of fracture-dislocations, articular reconstruction, deformity correction, nonunion management and complication avoidance. They will be able to discuss the advantages and limitations of different treatment options, justify surgical decision-making in complex cases, and integrate current evidence into clinical practice. Furthermore, participants will strengthen their ability to manage difficult intraoperative and postoperative scenarios, with the goal of improving functional outcomes in highly complex upper extremity trauma cases.
