Description
The Power of Nailing – Mastering Trochanteric Fractures
Endoscopic Spine Surgery:
Description
This expert-level masterclass focuses on contemporary concepts in the treatment of complex trochanteric fractures. Through interactive lectures, case-based discussions and practical training, participants will critically evaluate instability patterns, reduction strategies, implant selection, fixation optimization and revision concepts using the Arthrex Trochanteric Nail System. Particular attention is given to challenging fracture configurations, compromised bone quality and factors associated with fixation failure. In addition, the course explores the role of FiberTape® Cerclage, Femoral Head Augmentation and Better with Bio™ solutions as part of a comprehensive treatment strategy. The ArthroLab™ session provides an opportunity to discuss technical nuances and apply advanced surgical concepts in a practical environment.
Learning Outcomes
Upon completion of this course, participants will have deepened their understanding of the decision-making process involved in managing complex trochanteric fractures. They will be able to critically assess fracture morphology, instability patterns, reduction quality and fixation strategies while evaluating the role of adjunctive technologies such as FiberTape® Cerclage, Femoral Head Augmentation and biological support concepts. Through expert case discussions and complication analyses, participants will further refine their ability to identify risk factors for failure, optimize patient-specific treatment strategies and improve outcomes in demanding femur fracture cases.
